Family and Consumer Science at EHMIS strives to prepare learners with practical skills that will be used throughout life. Through the journey to make middle school students more independent and productive citizens, students will experience units in which they will gain skills and knowledge in sewing and textiles, food preparation, nutrition, career planning, and financial literacy. Students have the opportunity to create, think critically, and work cooperatively in a safe and encouraging environment.
